Dear POLO Magazine Readers,
Summer is almost over and we have accomplished a number of projects that we would like to share with you. We are excited to announce that we have purchased a beautiful ranch on Calhoun between Ave. 52 and Ave. 53. Empire's Calhoun Ranch has covered pipe corrals, 8 grass pastures, an exercise track, polo arena and a stick and ball field.
The Empire West stabling area is being remodeled and updated. There will be covered pipe corrals with aisles, large tack rooms and other new amenities. These new stabling areas will be ready for the upcoming polo season.
December "warm up" polo is back this season with 1- and 4-Goal tournaments every weekend. There will be 8-Goal tournaments held during the last two weekends of the year. Our January tournaments begin Dec. 30th with a soft opening of Sunday Polo on Dec. 31st, 2017. Our official "Opening Day & Hat Day" is scheduled for January 7th, 2018.
